Other than the run-of-the-mill stuff, what is a great pastime in Grand Cayman?

I love Cayman and have spent a great deal of time there. I guess it really depends on what you are interested in but the very best day we've had in Cayman was on the Cayman Outrage Eco Tour.

Yes you can do the usual stingrays, but we choice not too and we got to go snorkeling in some of the best sites I've ever seen and we stopped at starfish beach ( starfish everywhere!) Our Captain also had a big tube that he drags behind the boat and you can go for rides and fishing supplies if you want to go that route.

The boat was beautiful and we had the best weather. Oh the mangroves were so nice too, birds and little jellyfish ( don't worry, you don't snorkel there:-) Oh we had the captain stock the boat with beer and sodas and we brought a bottle of rum:-)

As for other things to do, there is a night kayak trip that goes from Kaibo that is really nice and Rum Point beach is really nice...you can stop there on the Outrage tour.

For food, Casanovas was really nice and Bamboo had a great sushi but was a little pricey..seems to be a hang out for expatriates. Great Martinis!!!!
