We are a traveling family of four and we loved our trip to ST Martin! We rented a car and drove all over the island. We had all just tried snorkeling for the first time and went on a guided sailboat tour that stopped and let us snorkel at the most beautiful cove. But because we had a car we then hit many other places to snorkel at other parts of the island. We stayed at the Oyster Bay resort because we traded our timeshare to there. It was beautiful and had an infinity pool as well as a beach. It was neat because we were on the east side of the island right at the border of the French and Dutch parts of the island. We got to do so much in one week and we would return again!
i would say that St. Martin is a wonderful place to go for vacation, for older people. most of the beaches, orient beach for example, could be.... well you know what i mean right? but off course, i'm not very mature, and niether are my friends who i went with.
did you by any chance eat at the restaurant Caribuni i think it was? lovely place, the people are so nice. my friend spilled a beer on the menu, once then another time, we felt dreadful. we appologized as best as we could (attempting in french, with our british accent.)
