Hello to all of you who take your vacations at the all inclusives in Negril. Just wanted to see if anyone has been to ,The Office, a lobster shack that my wife and I would luv to visit when we go to Jamacia in Dec of this year.
Never been to The Office, but if you are staying in Negril, make sure you go to the Pirates Cave. Awesome food, full bar, cliff diving...the whole nine yards. Its way cooler then Ricks, way more intimate too. If you want some good conch chowder, fish or jerk chicken go to Seaview Sportsbar...its this local place with awesome food, again full bar. Ask for Ninja or Donavan...Ninja runs the show around there, he'll take care of you. Tell him Cary the camera man sent you. ; )
It's a great pleace to eat! We are going back next april...it is a yearly cruise we take to the west indies on Carnaval Conquest. Most of our time is spent on the beaches. Love it !placesofrefuge
I did not stay in Negril I stayed in Montego Bay and had a bunch of fun in March 2007. Doctors Cave Beach was a very nice beach which the Breezes resort shared. Jamaican Bobsled Bar was fun. The water in Jamaica has some serious turqoise colors and the best in the carribean to me. No matter where you go in Jamaica to me it is the best in the Carribean and your bound to enjoy it. I will go back every year or every other year. Ya Mon!
We love Negril. We stay at Hedonism2, which is wonderful! It is as wild or tame as you want! Don't believe any negatives you hear without investigating for yourself. Also, we were there last month and took a cab up to Xtabe to swim and drink a few Red Stripes. Gorgeous cliffside views.
I know exactly where you mean. My hubby and I visited Negril in 2005 but chickened out and just laid on the beach all week. We're heading back in Feb '08 with friends and definitely have the Office of Nature on our list. Since your original post was 5 mos ago, have you been there and back?

I also stay at Hedo. It is great fun and it has been a few years since I was there but I had a GREAT time. I was not looking for posh or super expensive. The food was very good but the company was the the draw. Lose any high end vacation expectations and sit back enjoy & say No Problem Man and you will enjoy.
I've also heard lots of positive feedback about Hedonism - mind you it's not for everyone though! Some useful further tips can be found on this Negril guide
I love negril but just for a day trip, when i am in jamaica which is a few mths of the year i live in cousins cove at sweet brezze , a real taste of old time jamaica no one get to see much anymore ..sooo mums the word
My wife and I are going to Negril next January our 1st trip to Negril. We have made several to Runaway Bay and Ochie. We did decide to stay at Grand Pineapple, but plan on getting out and checking out different bars and eateries. any suggestions?? What about transportation, is it like Ochie, a cab on every corner?
Negril Beache is a large beach resort town located across parts of two Jamaican parishes, Westmoreland and Hanover.
I have been there last year. The resort was beautiful, lush plants & flowers, ever so soft beds and all the conviences that you would need at home. The sand and water was the best, the music of Jamaica was so relaxing. As they say in Jamacia "NO PROBLEM" and truely there is none while there.
