There are a few players whom I don't like, but most players who may have gotten under my skin at one time I now find more amusing, and many have become friends. For example, at one time or another I found Mike Matusow, Layne Flack, and Phil Hellmuth annoying in one way or another, but now I'd jump up and defend them if they were criticized by someone who didn't understand them (well, maybe not Hellmuth ). The players that I continue to dislike are the ones I consider dishonest, looking to take unfair advantage whenever they can, acting rudely to other players and dealers, and refusing to admit they are wrong. Then again, you'll find some of the most honest and sharing people in poker -- and those are the players with whom I surround myself.
I ask that question, Andy, because I DO! I know Phil & Layne both personally & they are both dishonest. I'm not talking about on a poker table either. They are liars, swindlers & cheats. I have challenged Hell-MOUTH to a heads-up match TWICE & he refused. Maybe it's because he already owes me $$$ & won't pay. Or maybe the little pansy is just scared, I don't know, but I figure I'll eventually get a shot at him. Be afraid Phil, be very afraid. -Hitman-
