tonight is opening night, I am sure if you are like me you are already experiencing major jitters. the hardest part for me was simply trusting i would be able to say that very first line. I was always so nervous i just couldn't imagine even talking. but once that first line is over the fun begins.
thanks for blaming the post office but I'm sure it was probably my mistake. I have your email so thanks!
Thanks Sam!
Opening night went well... we had some technical difficulties, but the audience was laughing a LOT. I definitely had some pre-show jitters... my legs were shaking so bad on stage. I messed up a line but I don't think anyone noticed. But it went well! The play is double-casted, so I'm working box office tonight, but I'm doing our closing show (my cast gets the best performances!).
Well, thanks for wishing me well, and good luck to you in your new series and wedding!
Sam,I ususally LOVE your show!!! Really, I do!!! But.... I was very disappointed in the Travel to Europe Berlin episode. My brother and his wife have been there several times and loved every minute of it. You really acted as if you really did not want to be there and was really just..BORED!!! No tips on if the majority of the people speak english or not, etc. Another thing I would like to mention, especially when you go abroad, Alot of us working folk either can't afford to travel out of the country and if we can actually scrape enough togather to do so, we'd like to save as much as possible. You may want to menetion other places to stay that are not so expensive so that our money should be better spent helping to support the local people of that country. At any rate, I think you sold BERLIN off short and did not act as your usual, bright and happy host. Just thought you might give Berlin another chance..... I did notice the old building and fountains and stautes were BEAUTIFUL!!! and new architechure was VERY impressive!! Thanks! Still love all of your shows and if you ever want to quit, let me know!! What and AWESOME JOB!!!!!
Hi Sam! I have some tasty dessert recipes for you! I hope you enjoy them!
Berried Delight 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/2 c. sugar(divided) 1/2 c. butter(melted) 1 package(8oz) cream cheese(softened) 2 T. Milk 1 tub whipped topping(thawed) 2 pints strawberries(hulled & halved) 3 1/2 c. cold milk 2 packages vanilla instant pudding
Mix- crumbs, 1/4 c. sugar & butter press firmly onto the bottom of a 13x9 pan, refrigerate until ready.
Beat- cream cheese, 1/4 c. sugar and 2 T. milk until smooth. Gently stir in 1/2 tup whipped topping. Spread over crust. Top with strawberry halves.
Pour- 3 1/2 c. milk into large bowl, add pudding mix, beat with a wire whisk for 2 min. Pour over cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate- 4 hrs. or until set. Cover with remaining whipped topping and enjoy!
Here is another recipe.
Sinfully Decadent Awesome Caramel Apple Pie 1 high-quality, ready-made, deep-dish apple pie with lots of apple filling 1 small jar of caramel ice cream topping 1 cup of chopped pecans
Bake the pie for 20 min. according to the package directions. Remove from oven and make deep holes in the top, filling each hole with a spoonful of caramel topping. If you have any topping left, spread it over the top. Sprinkle chopped pecans on the topping Return the pie to the oven for approx. another 20 mins. & bake until topping bubbles and apples are tender. Serve & enjoy!
Note: Be sure to put a large piece of foil or a cookie sheet under the pie when baking since it may boil over.
I think you underestimate your appeal and that the swimsuit calendar would be a moneymaker. Maybe we should have a poll in this forum asking how many people would buy one. Anyways thanks for recommending a book. I'm off work today and still away from home, so I'm using a computer at the local library. Hopefully I'll be able to find that book here and will have something to read over the weekend. One last thing I'd like for you to consider is getting into politics. Your brains, charm and good looks could take you a long way; maybe all the way to the presidency. The fact that you're already a celebrity, with a fine reputation, would help as well. I think an ideal slogan for your campaign would be, "I'm always thinkin" an expression I've heard you use more than once. Please think about it. Lord knows, this country could use some enlightened leadership.

I'm glad you're back and getting a break from all your travels / work Although the week is almost over, I happened to visit the forum just now.
I'm glad Passport series would still continue to venture other countries, though, I feel quite sad that the Europe series are almost over..
Good luck in all your endeavors. I'm just one of your may fans who fell in love with many of your programs, and with your warm yet charming personality.
Best wishes to your upcoming marriage.
P.S.
Trivial, but I'd like to let you know you have a good taste in clothing You inspired me in that area as well. I never had a pink jacket, now I have two
