Must.... not.... post..... No, Kel, no I truly can't help myself, and thanks so very much for pointing that out Razz. Actually, one time last spring, I think the March or April thread, I had the strength to stay off for the entire week (imagine that, but I was miffed when Sam hardly acknowledged me the previous thread and thus perceived a chilling snub; clearly it doesn't deter me any more... Wink) but I think someone needs to install a v-chip in my pc to restrain my Samanthan compliments as it's simply beyond my powers now. It's just... so... easy... and so much about which to compliment her. And yet none of you would ever realize what a shy and reticent person I am in real life. The mysteries of Life... And Kel, you know where "Capt. Tuttle" came from! Although this does date you a bit... (to date me, in the only game I've ever seen in Wrigley Field - pre-lights of course - Ryne Sandburg jacked one out over right center field off Nolan Ryan; it was the Cubbies' division winning year that they later blew near Sam's Del Coronado in San Diego...) But I do admire you tremendously for your consideration and actions for your mom, and no doubt family, and in your noble work as well. And let's hope Samantha is so bleary-eyed by the time she gets to this point that she doesn't even notice my twelfth (?) post this week. I'm deeply ashamed, but non-Samanthas keep luring me back; what else could I as a Southern Gentleman do? But only Sam (or her mom) can weasel me back on after this post - I swear by Samantha's cat.

Hi Samantha,
I habe been watching your show for at least a year, and I realized that over the last two days, you are the most beautiful woman on TV, with no one even close. I know you have seen this type of post before, but this is the first time I have ever sent a note like this in my life! You are gorgeous, and I am envious of you beau....I am an admirer for a long time!

It was truly a blast talking to everyone-it had been too long since my last visit and it really is like seeing old friends again when the familiar names pop onto my screen. To Captuttle-me snub you? NEVER. I had a tough time balancing family, friends and this forum over the holidays because as you know I like to answer almost every post but this time I could not. I definately read everyone of the posts and appreciate the incredible praise. It's been a wonderful way to end every night. So next week I'm off to Hawaii. You all may think I should be overjoyed however my eating habits of late are not conducive to the bikini scenes that await me. Bathing suit scenes are just downright painful. We are shooting a one hour Hawaiian Hotel special while we're there and two of the other 5 one hour episodes: Best Island hotels and Best Beach Hotels-all done in bikinis. I ask you: WHEN IS THIS TORTURE GOING TO STOP? Tonight for dinner I had a steak with a green peppercorn cream sauce, 1/2 a bottle of gosh darn good Pinot Noir and enough peppermint chocolate bark to kill a small dog. My director is going to have to hide me behind tables and shrubbery like they do with soap stars trying to hide their pregnancy. I'm not preggars but I certainly have been eating for two lately. Wink I would estimate the next forum to be around mid-March. Look out for the Massachussettes hotels they are some of my all time favorites.

to hummingbirdlady-thanks for the crock pot cook book advice. I will definately pick up one of the books you recommend.

to rumseydf-I'm sorry to say I've never been to Mexico. If I did it would be to do an ancient tour of how chocolate came to be. Big Grin

to samfaniam-Just go to any hotel not on the strip and you can get fantastic deals. Really just stay away from every Vegas hotel I have been to. Wink I believe summer is a pretty cheap time due to it's near death temperatures.

I have noted those of you who have left an email address and will be sending pics off sometime in February.

Well I guess that's all OH...HAPPY NEW YEAR! Big Grin

What are the holidays for if not to over eat. Knowing you, you’ll be spending extra time at the gym as not to disappoint those of us who watch to check out the host as much as the hotels.

Have a safe and Happy New Year. If you decide to join that mass of humanity that will be Times Square this week, wave so we can see ya.

Till we meet again, as always, safe travels.

Now you're just toying with me to draw me out one final time Wink, succeeding, of course. Like a genie in a bottle, I must magically appear if rubbed properly. So to clarify my previous muddy entry, Sam, it was a forum of way last spring, when I couldn't help but continue posting (me?) even though I'd long run out of relevant comments then and you suitably devoted your time to real questioners instead, that afterwards I sulked in my tent like Achilles (or was it Ajax?) in the Iliad. On the contrary, as for this month's efforts, I'm sure we're all more than honored that you'd take any time at all from such a personal week as this to feverishly hammer away on your keyboard for us, red or even white wine in hand, and I've immensely enjoyed the opportunities (and of course have overdone it - I thought I was wrapped up last Tuesday night, to be honest, not thinking you would possibly talk with us over the Christmas weekend itself). If there were an Emmy for a TV celeb's attention to her adoring fans (daytime category), you'd certainly be the winner (hmmm.. needle on the fawn-o-meter is taking off again, sorry... sorry). And I think I've become unsnubbable in the interim anyway, posting brazenly and heedlessly more than ever, but pledging to keep watching your new episodes for as long as I can do so. Travel safely, Samantha, make sure your mom behaves in the islands, and don't worry overly about that pesky waistline; you'll always have your wondrous, scintillating smile to fall back upon (and you can work off the poundage skiing in CO anyway). Plus you may always dazzle us with the hint of bare shoulder, in a pinch. Hope everyone has a wonderful toasty winter - Capt. Tuttle

Samantha I think I speek for alot of your Male viewers when I say That U look Marvelous Darling in your Bikini! Ok, a little extra weight do to the Hollidays is understandable, but please Keep in Mind what might be torture for U Sam (Photo shoot on the beach with the beautiful waves in the background) is eye candy for alot of us in TV land.

Keep up the good work Samantha P.S Stay away from the One Piece, And Shake what your momma gave Ya! Lifes-fun

Hi Samantha,

I can't believe I finally found you online.I hope I'm not too late. I seemed to miss you every time you've been on this past fall. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for the great pictures that you sent to my daughters. The personal notes make them even more special.

We taped the Disney special. It was great. We'd like to go down next year over the holidays. I noticed that your nephew didn't make the trip. My girls want you to know that if you ever need some kids to go with you to Disney, they'd be happy to volunteer (although the soccer players were fun). They are 11 and 13 and can't wait to go back.

We are enjoying the third season, especially the Hotel Del and Disney California . If you go back to Vegas, we recently stayed at the Mirage. The pool is to die for and it's right in the middle of the strip. Well, thanks again and have a Happy New Year!
