Now you're just toying with me to draw me out one final time

, succeeding, of course. Like a genie in a bottle, I must magically appear if rubbed properly. So to clarify my previous muddy entry, Sam, it was a forum of way last spring, when I couldn't help but continue posting (me?) even though I'd long run out of relevant comments then and you suitably devoted your time to real questioners instead, that afterwards I sulked in my tent like Achilles (or was it Ajax?) in the Iliad. On the contrary, as for this month's efforts, I'm sure we're all more than honored that you'd take any time at all from such a personal week as this to feverishly hammer away on your keyboard for us, red or even white wine in hand, and I've immensely enjoyed the opportunities (and of course have overdone it - I thought I was wrapped up last Tuesday night, to be honest, not thinking you would possibly talk with us over the Christmas weekend itself). If there were an Emmy for a TV celeb's attention to her adoring fans (daytime category), you'd certainly be the winner (hmmm.. needle on the fawn-o-meter is taking off again, sorry... sorry). And I think I've become unsnubbable in the interim anyway, posting brazenly and heedlessly more than ever, but pledging to keep watching your new episodes for as long as I can do so. Travel safely, Samantha, make sure your mom behaves in the islands, and don't worry overly about that pesky waistline; you'll always have your wondrous, scintillating smile to fall back upon (and you can work off the poundage skiing in CO anyway). Plus you may always dazzle us with the hint of bare shoulder, in a pinch. Hope everyone has a wonderful toasty winter - Capt. Tuttle
