Ian Wright is funny and CRAZY....he seems a bit unsure of the direction to take this program right now. There's a better flow on Globe Trekker. He just needs to be his crazy self and it will work. Give him a chance to settle in.

The Nashville segment was really good; had a little taste of everything and since I've never been there I learned a little more that made me interested in seeing it for myself. Cute bit with the blonde country singer as his co-host.

I agree. I have followed him since his GlobeTrekker and Lonely Planet days. I really liked his shows on Alaska, Tahiti and Jamaica.
So what if he is English. Bourdain is US and goes all over. What's the diff?

The difference is that Bourdain has a better sense of the world whereas Wright is merely a mime.

Bourdain is a copy of what Wright did 10 years ago.
