I loved the atmosphere at Chartier, but the food there according to a relative of mine has gone downhill since when she used to eat there 20 years ago. I thought it was good though, when I went there last year. It's located at 7 Rue du Faubourg Montmartre, and it's perfect for the traveller on a budget!

Chartier is not an restaurant.....It is an EXPERIENCE!!!!!! And, the crepes at the courner of Poissoniere and Montmartre (Grand Boulevard Metro stop) are one of the best in Paris...... Try the Nutella....
