I'm planning my 15 year anniversary trip to Hawaii. Going first class all the way. I know, poor me. However, I am bringing my 16 month old with me. I have a 9 hour flight from Atlanta. I need survival tips, especially with all the new restictions on what I can bring on board. What about packing? I usually bring everything I could need. On this flight and inter-island air I'm limited. What if the hotel doesn't have the crib I requested? Looking forward to any suggestions.
Have you looked at the family travel website called WeJustGotBack.com? Check the tip sheet for "flying with kids." There is a tip on that site that worked for me--bring lots of small toys in large Ziploc bags and present them to your child one by one in intervals (not all at once!) which should keep your toddler occupied for 20 min at a time. There are some good packing tips there too.
