2hrs (or so) outside of bangkok is the Tiger Temple. For B500 you can catch a van from Khao Sarn Rd to the River Kwai and then to the temple. A friend of mine went and she thought it was really cool... http://www.collidingcontinents.com/2008/01/big-cats-need-love-too.html
