This has got to be the worst show yet. I used to enjoy this show but it has gotten to the point where is seems so fake and forced. Now I know why most of the friends who USED to watch the show no longer watch.
The narrator is not well educated in the battle of Gettysburg. He just mad a statement that 11,000 lives wee lost. Too bad he was off by more than 37,000. There were more than 48,000 dead in three days. Include the wounded and missing it jumps to 51,000+. I am sick and tired of seeing joksters and charletans disrespect this hallowed ground where so many died believing in their own cause, just to promote a stupid TV show. This is my last episode I'll ever watch. I am a native of Pennsylvania and a frequent visitor to Gettysburg, and this is an extreme disservice.
They should be barred for ever entering the town of Gettysburg again. I hope they never come back to America. Stay Home, Please.

Tiss Tiss iceman don't be a snob! do you relize how man pepole will now come to see your home town and suport you community. never mind a miss count of pepole that will be corrected once pepole do look into it all. so hold your toung and don't be such a prat

You're both right - people will visit and bring commerce and money BUT they should show the proper respect for the sacrifices made there. When we visited the Alamo in San Antonio the men had to remove their hats in respect and I think the same idea should apply to Gettysburg (obviously not the hat thing - but you get the idea).

A SNOB Dusty??? My Great Grandfather fought on that Hallowed ground I'll be damned if I'll endorse a bunch of horses arses running around screaming and cursing like it was some type of side show. They want to make a buck....STAY HOME! Gettysburg ISN'T about money sweetie....People come to Gettysburg to vist the turning point in our Civil War....Keep your ghost hunters at home where they can trample the ground of YOUR dead, not mine. Keep them at home where they can laugh and scream and curse in your graveyards.....Keep them at home period if they cannot respect the suffering and death that occured on this battlefield...the bloodiest battlefied of our Civil War.

As President Abraham Lincoln said:

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

i feel you iceman sort of i have to say, having some cherokee blood in me, i was a little offended when they found out they were on a Native American burrial ground they continued to curs and carry on

That ground is sacred...and I dont want any paranormal ppl on it. If you come and see something...fine. MHL basically unearthed the dead. What they did was stirred all of them up...cant just let them alone can you? No... had to piss them off in everything you have done. Let them alone...we have since 1863.

I'm sorry you had to see that too....no respect whatsoever....makes your heart heavy knowing people are so callous to the dead anymore. They seem to think its like the UK, ancient history. They forget that this is a YOUNG country and the living still remember their dead. Not as just history, but family members.
