Carl deposited Yvette in the Triangular Field and just left her there, in the dark, with very little light and no idea where she was. I'm sure they were keeping an eye on her, but she could have easily fallen, bitten by a snake or otherwise injured in that very hilly, rocky place. What a stupid maneuver!

BTW, those lights she kept seeing are car headlights. There are several roads in that area.
