Did anyone else notice this?

As the host was saying the closing g'byes to all, I could see something was happening with Yvette and the team while still in the forest, on the monitor. They were pointing and looking to their right, and they were definitely distracted by it while trying to wave goodbye, which looked rather like deer in headlights. Cath was especially disturbed by it, putting her head on Yvette for comfort.

It was so frustrating, because obviously the 'story' was continuing and the show just closed down on top of it!

WHAT WAS HAPPENING??? I do hope we find out someday.

Otherwise, wonderful show. Love you guys so much?

I agree. I saw the exact same thing. I hope they find a way to change it next year. I love this show, but what bothered me the most is they'd be right in the middle of something great and then cut to commercial! aaargh!

this is kind of a little off the subject, but did anyone else notice when they were in jennie's house, the investigative group thought they were getting response in the form of knocking, what my sis and I heard was the drums sounding off to signify battle. There was a rythmn that just could not be responses. Definitely sounded like snare drums to us.

Sorry, taped the noise, it was the air conditioning unit in the Jennie Wade House, also the house is rigged with a speaker system for a self-guided tour which causes EMF. The "questions" asked were straight out of the guidebook which any person in town for "three days" could have gotten. Also on the web.

The "long roll" was only played to call the troops into formation before a battle. During the battle, the drummers and other musicians carried off the wounded with their sashes as a sling since most were children.

Thank you! It is nice to know that there is someone with some knowledge out there!!

I do believe that Gettysburg is haunted, but I do not think that the MH team are the people to document it.

I find it strange that EVERY SINGLE place they investigate (here and abroad) has tapping and knocking and as soon as they enter the threshold. C'omon, please! I was hoping they would encounter a real spirit and poop their pants on live TV...now that's entertainment.

I fell asleep just as they began the outdoor investigation. That tells me for sure that segment is the most haunted of the night.

I doze off or leave the room when investigative teams have their most active readings and personal experiences. When nothing happens I have no trouble watching.
I had a very difficult time when they were at the Chilsom (sp?) caves near and at the beach near those woods.
I noticed my little quirk last winter, and so far it has held true.

The problem I have is that every time something happens, the MH team automatically assume it's paranormal.

A 150-year-old house is going to pop and creak. When you see lights on the wall, ask yourself, "Is there any chance, given that we're right by a street, that those were car headlights?"

If there is a chance, you've got to throw it out. And actually, I think ANY audio 'evidence' collected last night has be discounted because they were in a noisy location (lots of people, cars, etc. moving outside) and there was no way to control the noise.

I wish they'd have a real experience too, like seeing a disembodied head moving around a room. They seem to always see vague things like lights and shadows...

Although I didn't see the ending, I truned it off after a couple hours in frustration. I feel the answer to your question is, Nothing. There was soooo much drama esp. from Yvette I'd venture a guess that it was intentionally done to make us, the viewer think that something supernatural was actually taking place so we'd want to see more. It goes back to what they always say in showbiz. "Always leave 'em wanting more."

I agree! It is very sloppy investigative work. There were no photos taken at all. The FLIR camera was set on their huge heads, which it should be scanning the room. There was no real use of EVP or EMF or Temp guages, just a 2 bit psychic and a ouija board.

I don;t know if you have been in the Jennie Wade House or the Dobbin House. I can tell you that the Jennie Wade house shakes, rattles and rolls with every footstep. If someone is upstairs walking you feel the house move downstairs. Even shifting your weight from one foot to another causes the floorboards to creak loudly. The same with the Dobbin house. The front of the building is so slanted. My husband and I were seated for dinner one evening in the same room they were investigating in. The building may be larger than most but it also moves when you walk or actually just move in your chair. It is so slanted that you can see it in your drinks on the table. The entire house and stairs feel twisted when walking thru it...you almost feel as if you are walking on a cruise ship. The windows also have the wavy glass which refracts light differently than modern windows, and it is on a busy road. I mean really the building was built in 1776. In order to get anything in the Dobbin House, you would have to sit quietly, not move, and sit accross the room from one another with your backs to the walls to capture any activity. Not sit in a huddle staring at one another. You would also need to use your equiptment in the appropriate manner by scanning the room, asking questions softly and remaining quiet after each question. Geeze, I think I could do a better investigation with my digital camera, Sony handheld rcorder and my K2 meter.
