I have visited Gettysburg many times and have had 2 actual encounters with spirits while touring the battlefields. This show was a major disappointment. I have to agree with previous posts. Instead of listening to Yvette constantly say "Did you hear that?" followed by a group discussion, why not be quiet so that everyone else watching can listen and maybe hear something also? Also, I don't understand the physic artwork. Anyone with talent can draw a picture of a "spirit" and fax it in. Why not ask for actual pictures taken from visitors of Gettyburg and show them? My niece has a picture of a confederate soldier standing by a large tree that was taken at night on the wheatfield. I would of loved to have that shown and explained to me.
They call it Psychic Artwork for a reason. It isn't Psychic Captured By Cam artwork. It would have been great if they had more stroy videos to play than what they did..Those were very cool. Specially the one where it has the chuby general lookin guy on the hill
You are so right. Gettysburg is truly haunted, no gimmicks and dramatics are needed. The misuse of the equiptment was so surprising to me. The FLIR is a great tool when used properly.
I do think it was pretty amazing...but that is probably because i haven't expierenced it myself. It was a nice taste of Gettysburg and will probably give people the idea to truely visit some spirits in Gettysburg...but you can't really learn about them from the television.
I am frequently at the Gettysburg Battlefield and was there the evening of the broadcast. I was so looking forward to this investigation but was disappointed as well. I too wish they would have been more quiet and presented more evidence. Gettysburg is a revered place and many souls abound. I was at the Wheatfield taking random digital photos two hours before the broadcast and captured a huge orb which was completely see- thru. I also captured what appeared to be 2-3 images which seemed to be soldiers propped up against the walls of a barn which was used as a field hospital. I wish they too had spent some time with digital photography and EVP recordings. My biggest disapointment was Little Round Top--nothing! Maybe the souls did not feel true respect from this group.
I was very disappointed as well, in fact, half way thru I switched over to the Starter Wife series Premier...lol.
I get tired of seeing team members faces on the camera and not the surrounding where all this "activity" is happening. I get tired of Yvette talking so no one can hear anything but her voice. It absolutely ridiculous the amount of people around during their investigation. At one time at the Dobbin's House the team was right upstairs and 2 staff men walked in and out of the downstairs door and then 4 women walked in holding 2 drink cups each then walked out. I've been to the Dobbin's House 2 times and believe me you hear every footstep and breath..as with the JW house too.
I was so excited about them coming to G'burg as my family loves visiting there but this was a great disappointment. I wish TAPS was allowed to go.
Amen! What a big waste of time. This has to be the worst Most Haunted ever. Why didn't the team at least close the blinds/drapes so that the traffic wouldn't interfere? We don't want to see drawings by viewers or hear comments running across the screen. We want to see what the investigators are seeing, not their faces. Almost have stopped watching Most Haunted altogether because it seems more phoney than ever. David was a great medium. Don't need the extra feedback of some woman historian, either. Get back on track & just investigate. Stop the hype and dramatics, please.
I too was disappointed. This group always makes the investigations about themselves so I wasn't surprised that they would actually shut up, use equipment and present the results. The web cam shot of the Dress moving was pretty impressive. I too have been to Gettysburg ( I'm making a return trip next week ) and this program didn't even come close to showing what is present there. I would love to see the TAPS group do a live show there. Maybe the recap airing this afternoon will show something other than this group making too much noise.
I felt that some was real. Like in the Jennie house, the tapping was a drum, and it got louder and faster when another spirit came in. But to me, the séance wasn't as good a it could've been, because every time Yvette heard something, she broke the connection.

I was also very dissappointed. I mean, it was Gettysburg, one on the most haunted places in the US, and they still could not get any real evidence to show within 7 hours?? I am also a civil war buff, and can't wait to return, the only reason I watched this show was because of the location. I was so hoping to see something, but, alas, the sounds of 'knocking'/'tapping',(even on grass?) proved nothing to me. I believe the actual ghosts that were probalbly watching them were laughing, or extremely pi**ed that they were being mocked by idiots.

Hi, This was my first time watching. I know Gettysburg very well and have felt the spirits there for a long time. It was very well done, and Patrick Matthews is terrific. More of him would be great.
i to felt this was an exceptional show. loved Patrick, not so keen on Brian though. do wish Lesley had been able to join in with the team, she adds a great energy.
