During her Ouiga board reading Yevette swears she saw s white column of light pass in front of her. I wasn't there and even I saw the headlights of the car go-by the window outside the room. I think they must be the best psychic team in history to get so many responses by knocking. It seems spirits don't do that so easy for we Americans when we seek to converse with them.
It wasn't the first time she saw headlights from a car. they were all sitting at a table before and she jumped out of the chair saying she saw a flash. I'd been watching the windows behind her and there had been several cars passing by.
Steinwehr Avenue is a very busy road, as is all the roads leading to the center of town (the diamond). Not just cars but a large truck route, so it is always noisy and always has headlamps. There were also lots of people outside the Dobbin house taking pictures and driving into the parking lot. We have been to the Dobbin House many many many times. I am surprised they did not go downstairs to the Springhouse Tavern or to the back of the building where the Gallows were....well what's the difference they would have screwed that up too.
They never show evidence of anything. It would seem that with every show catching so much activity they would get lucky once in a while and have it backed up on tape or recorded. The car lights were bouncing and reflecting off of everything in that room and did not have to be seen behind them by us to have reflected on the side of the room Yvette claimed to see what sounded like the perfect description of car lights reflected in a dark room.
Actually, to me that was the highlight of the program! The cars go by, plain as day, and she jumps up and screams that she saw a ghost. It's so obvious she didn't, but no one corrects her and she seems so THRILLED adn she's so WRONG!! It's like a cat chasing a flashlight! :-)
I taped the program and have been watching it over the past few days.
I remember Yvette and different ones saying how hard it is to see when they use the nightvision. They have stumbled and so forth through out the series. They have mistook somethings for this or that, but usually say that it wasn't what it seemed when they realize it.
I had noticed earlier alot of traffic noise and people yelling from outside, and at the time of the seance, there were camera flashes from out side.
My take is the camera was facing Yvette. In the background we could see camera flashes and hear the crowd yelling. We could also see cars going up and down the street.
At the time in question, there were 2 cars passing in opposite directions on the street and we could see that in the window. Yvette jumps and says she see's a ghost.
I do believe she believed that is what she saw and heard. I don't believe she was trying to make something out of car lights...I feel she thinks she saw a column of light. I think she was so focused on looking for a ghost that when the light happened...that's what she thought she saw.
The camera was facing her, and not on what she saw. Did she see light? yes. Was it a ghost? I don't know. Maybe it was. Was it the car lights? Probably, but we didn't see what she saw.
This is one of those sequences that YOU have to decide for yourself.
In a taped episode, I believe this would have been edited out because it couldn't be proven to be a ghost, and with the camera angle, it might have looked like car lights. But this was live tv, and they showed stuff as it happened. They even let some language slip by from "the boys"
But this is what made Most Haunted Live exciting for me! You see stuff as it was...not edited, not altered...you be the judge.
Now, as for the contraption that flicked by radio signals...I do believe she heard answers. I heard them too before they said what they thought it said.

EXACTLY What kind of evidence are you seeking? They play back sound bites of "ghosts" they pick up during the show. Sometimes they show their evidence. Want to see mine? I got plenty of ghost manifestations, disembodied voices and the like. Yeah car sounds and lights - Gettysburg is quite busy during the hours of 8pm to 12 after that, pardon this, the streets are DEAD. LOL

I was in Gettysburg the same weekend MHL was there and my friend and I saw lights in the sky and trees in the graveyards about the town. Also there is not an inch of that place that isn't haunted. that box they used was phenonomenal. But when TAPS uses a contracption Americans go nuts and swear by it. When MH uses one - they are fakes. C'mon people. The real fakes in this world are CRISS ANGEL, TAPS and hard to believe Derrek Ahkora the medium sized fake
I am a paranormal investigator. I believe there is evidence of paranormal happenings, ghosts, the whole nine yards. Yvette does believe and I don't think she everything she hears or thinks she sees is faked but they do not show us any shadows caught on tape or cleaned up recordings. I have a very hard time hearing what they are talking about when they just replay a quick bit of sound bite. A lot of the investigation goes on afterward when heads are cooler. You can't show me real evidence of what happened. As for Chris Angel, he admits he's an illusionist not a magician with supernatural powers. TAPS evidence is real and there to be seen. When they don't get anything they admit it. Not getting anything is SOP in this arena. That is why this show fails to impress me as proof.
As for Chris Angel, he's a magician not a paranormal investigator. you might as well call David Copperfield, Harry Anderson, Penn and Teller and Houdini fakes as well.
