I really enjoyed Patrick. He was great. Talked a lot about what he was seeing and made sense while doing it. He made it easy to become involved with the story of Gettysburg. I hope the Most Haunted Team include him in other investigations. I loved David and am sorry he is no longer with the team. I hope they pick up Patrick this season.

I believe David Wells is off to do some things on his own. There's a thread on the regular forum about him.

Derek was apparently revealed to be a fraud. He was fed information about people, was "possessed" by them on the show, and later it was revealed that the information was deliberately faked - those people never existed. Oops!

Patrick was entertaining, but I did not believe for one second that he went into the Jennie Wade house not knowing her name or anything about her. Her name is on a sign outside the door! And that location is one of the better-known in Gburg. There is no way he could have been in Gettysburg for three days and NOT heard her name spoken, or seen it on the cover of a book, anywhere.

And they opened that segment by pointing out the bullet holes in the doors - but then coyly didn't say more because they didn't want to tip Patrick off as to how Jennie died. Oops, again!! Gee, ya think she might have been *shot*???

David Wells left the show because on the last halloween MHL in the uk 2007 they kept trying to summon the devil and he was not happy with it at all. He told them that he didn't think that they should be doing it, especially as Karl and Stewart had refused spiritual protection, but they just ignored him!

He was not respected and I think that they were way out of line with him.

The new medium that they have now, Brian Shepard, is not a patch on David and very few MH fans like him very much. All he ever says is OH MY GOD, Did you see that, whcih obviously they didnt beacuse he is meant to be the bloody medium!

Derek left because he was caught out as being fake but I think he was pushed down the route of which he took as the viwers enjoyed it when he got 'posessed' and some people didnt like him having too much limelight. I think that he has more ability that the current medium.

I really enjoyed watching Patrick, he is an empathic medium, he feels with emotions, which is very gut wrenching and hard for him. Im empathic, but have never encountered a spirit, which I can say im glad of! He really gave 100%
Brian, just stands there like he is out of it and says OMG did you see that? then when they ask him a question, he is like I don't know? He is not a big help AT ALL...Barry Johns has been on there before and he has been very good he did the episode in the woods and I thought he was good and very talkative as he walks. David will be missed, but if they asked him to conjure the devil I don't blame him for leaving...stupid people...they just don't know what they are playing with...WHAT ARE THEY THINKING??? Did they think the devil would show up and say HAPPY HALLOWEEN! and leave? Sometimes I don't think this group has any formal learning as paranormal investigators, they are just a bunch of actors who go out and run and scream and laugh and curse when they see things and get scared and they depend on the Psychic to keep them safe. Derek was always too showy and always getting possesed and still doing the same in his new show paranormal egypt.

I love Most Haunted, but I have to be honest the new mediums, that have been on the show, do not keep me interested. I couldn't wait to see the Gettysburg show. But I just couldn't stay interested, with the mediums info. Which is sad, because I am very interested in the history of the place. Sometimes, its almost like they are fishing for info from the crew, then runs with it. If Derek or David won't come back, please find a medium that is just as interesting and intertaining as they were. I cant help if Derek was fake sometimes. At least he and David knew what they were talking about.
