You forget how many of us legit ghost hunters are out there now and can tell a fake immediatley. The way they represented evidence I was waiting for them to swear they were greeted at the door by the ghosts since they bearly got in the doors and IT started to happen! Come on did u really expect to hold an audience. We will not tune in for the movie or follow up after seeing this scam!!! I have hunted in Gettysburg and have also hunted with TAPS members and this was soooo far from real!!!!! Such a disppointment!

I am all in favor of a good show so as a psychic who has been to Gettysburg and has watched the show since the beginning I didn't expect it to be any different. Its the people who believe that the show is a real example of paranormal investigation that bothers me. The show is fake! Enjoy it but don't fall for it. It's entertainment only.

For one thing, there's nothing Legit about ghost hunting at all! You can't even prove they exist! This show is just a television program made to entertain! Just because you have group you say hunts ghosts...really doesn't mean anything!

The science is called Parapsychology and it IS a legitimate branch of science and psychology. It is studied in universities and colleges and it is widely recognized in the scientific world. The science follows all the rules of any type of scientific investigation including developing theories and either proving or disproving them. It has been studied and investigated by major international powers including both the US government and the USSR. Finally, it involves more than just "hunting ghosts." Places like Sedona and her electro-magnetic energy fields are studied, telepathy and communications are studied and yes, ghosts are studied.

I guess a "group" that "hunts ghosts" like Cal-Tech, U of A, M.I.T. or the Federal Government doesn't matter though, since you say it "doesn't really mean anything." No, you're wrong, this is a legitimate field of scientific research and before posting something the next time, take a few minutes to do some research on the subject.

Why are ghost hunters so obnoxious? THis is not a career you got going honey - it's a HOBBY and a dead one at that. Grow up. What's fake is those two dumb Mario Brother Plumbers MARIO & LUEGI from Sci-Fi - Gimme a break! TAPS ARE THE FAKES.

Actually, the field is called Parapsychology and is an actual science and career. While not recognized by all branches of the scientific community, it has been, and is still being, studied at major universities and major governmental agencies. Its not a "hobby" Honey!

PLEASE do not LUMP all legitimate Parnormal Investigators into ONE BAD EGG...we are not all "GHOST HUNTERS"..Ghost Hunters got its name from the TV show. And it is not a Hobby as everyone has explained to you. It is a real field of study. We do help people with real problems. Just because their problems are paranormal and most of them cannot be seen with the naked eye does not mean they are not real. Spirits and Ghosts are real. Some people are so frightened in their own homes they are afraid to live there. DON'T JUDGE SOMEONE ELSE UNTIL YOU HAVE WALKED IN THEIR SHOES. I pray you never buy a home or become the victim of a haunting. Its not very funny, and its not fake at all. I grew up being scared to death our home was built over an indian burial ground. The things I saw were not my imagination, and they scared me to death. That is why I help people now, I don't want other children to go thru what I went thru and be ignored.

I would like to add here, that in most instances parapsychologists, investigators and researchers also look for logical explanations why phenomena are happening. For instance, dirty electricity can have certain effects like headaches, pain, seizures, psychosis, and hallucinations. We investigated a computer repair shop, located in a 19th Century building, which also ran servers. The owners and workers of the shop thought the place was haunted and had called in psychics, mediums, etc to cleanse the place but the hauntings kept continuing. We were there for less than an hour when we determined the "hauntings" were due to the high levels of electrical energy.

When the owners of the business took the proper precautions, such as being a special room for the servers, increased insulation etc., the "hauntings" ceased. Of course there were other investigations we did where we could not explain anything that happened other than to attribute it to the supernatural. As far as the existence of ghosts, I would like to remind everyone that one of the worlds three major religions has a spirit, which possesses its followers, as one of its edicts.

TAPS does a very good job "debunking" things with a natural explanation. Then, if they can't, it is not necessarily "haunted", just unknown. I consider them honest, while MH is entertaining (for the most part.)

While the "live" thing is provoking, I think I'd have preferred to see the edited, hour long version. Live has to much, pardon the pun, dead air. No access to the battlefield is a lousy tease, can you imagine what would happen there?
I feel asleep after watching for a few hours, and missed the conclusion, did I miss anything? My wife and I waited a long time for this, and I was kind of disappointed, especially, again, with no battlefield involvement. David Wells is SORELY missed.
